• After scoring a game-winning goal against the Fargo Force in January, he scored an empty net goal just four seconds later to cap a hat-trick and set a record for the fastest two goals by a player in USHL history – the record was previously eight seconds, set in 1987 by Wayne Berlinquette.

• Brickley won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2010 Under-18 World Championships. Twenty of the 22 players on the roster came from USA Hockey's National Team Development Program -- Brickley and forward Austin Watson (No. 14 ranked) were the only other two to crack the line-up.

• This season, he also represented his country at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial in August, the World Junior ‘A’ Challenge in November and the Six Nations Tournament in February.

• His second cousin, Andy Brickley (210th overall, by Philadelphia in 1980), played in the NHL from 1983-1994 for Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Boston, Winnipeg and is currently a broadcaster for Bruins TV. His father, Craig Brickley, was selected in the 13th-round, 207th overall, by Los Angeles Kings in 1974, and played hockey at the University of Pennsylvania.

• He has committed to the University of Vermont for the fall of 2011.
