2. The "Save": Florida got one back as Tomas Kopecky scored on a second opportunity while crashing the crease less than two minutes after Chara's strike (15:38) but the Panthers had a golden opportunity to tie the game at one earlier in the period. There Drew Shore, who set up Kopecky for the Panthers goal, looked to have his second of the season. With Tuukka Rask out of position on the initial shot, and Shore crashing the net, the forward got a piece of the puck and it slid toward the goal line. A backchecking Tyler Seguin swept the puck out of harms way just before it hi the goal line and turned up the ice. The horn went off briefly and Shore celebrated but it was inches too early of calling it a good goal. 3. Power Outage: Early in the second, the Panthers were called for a penalty. They had almost killed it off but the puck hit Peter Mueller's stick and found it's way to Chris Kelly's who put it into the open net from outside the crease with just eight seconds left on the man advantage giving them a 3-1 lead with 2:30 gone in the period. For the special teams have been a struggle and against the league's best penalty killing unit, it remained that way. Florida had four different opportunites to get on the score sheet but couldn't beat Rask. They had a golden chance after Lucic went to the box for four minutes at the end of the second. If they had gotten a goal late to make it 3-2, maybe things might have been different but the Bruins had some quality shorthanded chances including a breakaway by Rich Peverley as the period came to an end. Florida recorded seven shots on goal during their time. |

Memorable fan posts from the game.
Sami Rharmili: Markstroms 2nd straight game with a solid effort and they only score 1 again wow just wow! Ebba Hamrin: Marky made a solid effort in the net, as usual. But it's kinda hard to win games if you don't score. James Alexander: Wish we had some physical defenseman. Scottie Snyder: It was doubly painful today, being surrounded by Bruins fans. Samuel Daniel: Cruz What a freaking surprise |

1. Getting outscored by a 4-1 final, the Panthers had only one plus player on the night as Drew Shore was the only player to stay in the positive. |
