SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Panthers (@FlaPanthers) will host the 2nd Annual “Sports Science” Night at the BB&T Center (@TheBBTCenter) on Dec. 13, 2013.

The Sports Science program includes five interaction stations: The Science Lift, Frigid Science, Gravity and Friction, Bernoulli’s Principle, and Ice Science. Each station will be headed by an SFSC expert, and will include interactive activities for attendees to participate in. Such activities include building a rocket, dry ice experiments, and of course getting a chance to shoot pucks at the goal.

"Sports Science night brings together hockey and learning for a chance to increase knowledge in both areas," said President and CEO Michael R. Yormark (@PanthersYormark). "Attendees will also leave with an increased knowledge of how sports and science interact."

Each station will consist of a 30-minute session and the program begins at 3pm. Tickets packages are $30 for students and $20 for adults. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Cassie Wilkinson at 954-835-7711 or wilkinsonc@floridapanthers.com.
