Panthers IceDen To Host Fourth Annual South Florida Hockeyfest On Saturday, May 3


Festivities include Paws & Claws Pet Adoption Day and exclusive hockey equipment demo

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The fourth annual South Florida Hockeyfest will take place Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs. The event is free and open to the public and will feature hockey equipment demos, raffles and special guest appearances. The IceDen will also host a Paws & Claws Pet Adoption Day from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Hockeyfest will feature exclusive demo opportunities from top equipment manufacturers including Bauer, Reebok, CCM and Warrior. In addition, fans and players will have a chance to receive special prizes, giveaways and discounts, while also getting the opportunity to meet Panthers forward Tomas Fleischmann and defenseman Erik Gudbranson. Activities for children include interactive games, ball hockey and a bounce house. All appearances are subject to change.

The Paws & Claws Pet Adoption event features adoptable cats and dogs from the Broward County Animal Care & Adoption Center, with discounted rates for those looking to adopt new companions.

Located in Coral Springs, the Panthers IceDen is the official practice facility of the Florida Panthers. The 125,000-square-foot venue includes three sheets of ice. Open 364 days a year, the venue welcomes more than one million guests annually.
