FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (June 16, 2014) – The Cats are on the clock and FOX Sports Florida has a new, action packed episode of “Inside the Panthers” as Florida prepares to make the number one overall selection on Friday, June 27, in Philadelphia, Pa., at the 2014 NHL Draft.

On Wednesday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m., FOX Sports Florida, the regional television home of the Florida Panthers, will give hockey fans a preview of what to look for as the Panthers approach the podium. Hosted by Drew Goldfarb and produced by Frank Forte, the show features one-on-one interviews with Panthers Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon, who shares his thoughts on the importance of having the top choice, and his willingness to listen to trade offers for that pick, as well as Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo, who re-lives his own draft memories and shares thoughts on his return to the Panthers.

FOX Sports Florida was also granted access to the teams’ meetings with top-rated prospects at the NHL Scouting Combine in Toronto, where the Panthers interviewed draft-eligible stars such as Aaron Ekblad, Sam Bennett and Sam Reinhart, the top 3 ranked skaters in this years’ draft, plus numerous other potential draftees.
