560 WQAM to Offer Cats Fans Exclusive Radio Programming

Three New Radio Shows Offer In-Depth Panthers Coverage

SUNRISE, FL - The Florida Panthers in conjunction with Sports Radio 560 WQAM announced today an expanded radio programming format. The new programming will feature a weekly Inside the Panthers radio show and a Panthers Weekend Edition radio show.

"WQAM has been a tremendous partner of the Panthers and these three new radio programs will give our fans the most comprehensive Panthers coverage that has ever been offered by our club," said Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Michael Yormark. "These radio shows will provide our fans with the latest news on the Panthers, giving our fans an insiders' look at their team and a chance to get to know the teams' coaches, executives and players."

Inside the Panthers will be a weekly radio show that will feature Panthers General Manager Mike Keenan and Head Coach Jacques Martin, alternating every other week as guests with WQAM radio personalities Hank Goldberg and Howard David. Both shows will feature in-depth analysis from both Keenan and Martin on the Panthers performance throughout the season, NHL news and a look at future opponents. Inside the Panthers will debut on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 3:00 with Coach Martin and Howard David. Next week GM Mike Keenan joins Hank Goldberg at 8:45 on Tuesday for their first show of the year.

Panthers Weekend Edition will be a one-hour weekend wrap-up that will include highlights from the previous week's games, interviews with Panthers players and front office personnel, as well as previews of upcoming Cats' games and a call-in question and answer segment for listeners. The show will air all season long and be hosted by Panthers radio play-by-play voice Steve Goldstein and Cats radio host Jesse Agler. Both Inside the Panthers and Panthers Weekend Edition are scheduled to begin this week.
