Roberto Luongo Show Set Debut On WQAM on Friday

Martin And Keenan Headline other WQAM Cats Radio Segments

Sunrise, FL – The Roberto Luongo Show will debut on Sports Radio 560 WQAM this Friday, Oct. 14, live from Doris Italian Market in Coral Springs.

Luongo will arrive at 6 p.m. and sign autographs for 30 minutes, before joining Cats play-by-play radio broadcaster Steve Goldstein for a half-hour segment, which will include his analysis on the team's performance, a look at upcoming opponents and a call-in portion where Luongo will take questions from the listeners. The WQAM promotions team will also be on hand at Doris Italian Market offering up special raffle prizes and other giveaways.

"I'm extremely excited to be doing this show," Luongo said. "This is a great chance for me to step away from the rink and get to know some of our loyal Panthers fans. And for them to get to know me."

WQAM's packed Panther programming continues on Saturday, Oct. 15 with the debut of Panthers Weekend Edition. The show will include highlights from the previous week's games, interviews with Panthers players and front office personnel, as well as previews of upcoming Cats' games and a call-in question and answer segment for listeners. The show will air all season long and be hosted by Panthers radio play-by-play voice Steve Goldstein and Cats radio host Jesse Agler.

In addition, Inside the Panthers presented by A Atlantic Coast Mortgage will run on Tuesdays throughout the season and will alternate guests between Panthers General Manager Mike Keenan and Florida bench boss Jacques Martin. Keenan will be on the air with WQAM radio personality Hank Goldberg at the 8:45 a.m. time slot and Martin's will join WQAM radio host Howard David at 3 p.m.
