First there's the stellar goaltending match-up between Cats G Roberto Luongo and New Jersey netminder Martin Brodeur when the Panthers host the Devils on Nov. 23. Then, on Nov. 25 rookie sensation Sidney Crosby visits the BankAtlantic Center for the first time with Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux and the rest of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Fans should also look out for the Western Conference powerhouse Detroit Red Wings on Dec. 15, superstar center Peter Forsberg and the Philadelphia Flyers on both Dec. 26 and March 15 and Eric Lindros and the Toronto Maple Leafs on Nov. 28 and Jan. 30.
The Cats will also play 11 more home games against Southeast Division rivals such as the Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Atlanta Thrashers and Washington Capitals.
Panthers fans can still purchase great season seats that start as low as $7 per game, as well as mini plans and group ticket packages by contacting a sales representative at (954) 835-PUCK. Florida is currently tied for first place in the Southeast Division with the Lightning with a 5-4-0 record. With the rescheduling of the Ottawa game on Oct. 22 due to Hurricane Wilma, the Cats next home game is Saturday, Oct. 29 vs. the Washington Capitals at 7:30 p.m. at the BankAtlantic Center.
The game follows a two-game road trip to Pennsylvania to face Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. and Philadelphia on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.
Fans can catch the National broadcast of the Pittsburgh game on OLN, while the Philadelphia game will be broadcast live on FSN Florida.
