Holiday Spectacular Followed By Panthers-Red Wings Game At 8 p.m. Majic 102.7's Joe Johnson to Host Carls Holiday Spectacular

SUNRISE, Fla. – Bright lights and an abundance of holiday festivities are scheduled for Carls Holiday Spectacular at the BankAtlantic Center from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15 leading up to the Florida Panthers-Detroit Red Wings game at 8 p.m..

Carls Holiday Spectacular, hosted by Majic 102.7's Joe Johnson, is free of charge and open to the public. It promises to be a fun-filled family event featuring a Christmas tree and menorah lighting, carolers and appearances by mascots from local professional sports teams and several local media celebrities.

Fans are encouraged to come early as a large crowd is expected for the event. And any fans interested in attending the Panthers-Red Wings game should purchase tickets as soon as possible, as a limited amount of seats are still available for this marquee match-up.

Florida Panthers players' wives/girlfriends will be at the event selling commemorative Carl's Holiday Spectacular pucks featuring Stanley C. Panther, with proceeds going to the Sun-Sentinel Children's Fund.

Additionally, the Spirit Airlines Funway will be transformed into a winter wonderland, as guests enjoy holiday music from carolers and other seasonal melodies from local musicians. Face painting, balloon artists, magicians, clowns, jugglers and a special holiday arts and craft area will be available for children's entertainment.

There will also be an autograph session with Panthers personalities, as well as appearances from Stanley C. Panther and other local mascots including Seven (BankAtlantic), TD (Miami Dolphins), Spike (Florida Pit Bulls), Obie (Orange Bowl Commission) and others.
