January Is Coca-Cola 'Kids Month'
Children Get In Free To All Panthers Home Games In January Special Autograph Sessions With Panthers Players After Games
SUNRISE, Fla. - In an effort to develop a strong relationship between the Florida Panthers and South Florida's youth the club announced today that January is Coca-Cola Kids Month at the BankAtlantic Center.
As part of the second annual Kids Month, children (12 and under) will get free admission with a paid adult ticket to any of the Panthers five home games at the BankAtlantic Center. The children will also be invited to a special postgame autograph session with select Florida Panthers players.
Over the next two home games on Jan. 12 and Jan. 14 Nathan Horton, Joe Nieuwendyk, Martin Gelinas and Roberto Luongo will be among the Panthers stars signing autographs during the special postgame session. Autograph schedule is subject to change without notice.
"It is important for our team to furnish a positive relationship with the young fans in South Florida," Panthers head coach Jacques Martin said. "This is a great opportunity for the kids in the area to get up close and personal with our players following an exciting home game."
The Panthers five spectacular home games during the month of January are against the St. Louis Blues (Jan. 12), Columbus Blue Jackets (Jan. 14), Carolina Hurricanes (Jan. 25), New Jersey Devils (Jan. 27) and Toronto Maple Leafs (Jan. 30).
Kids Month tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone (954-523-3309 in Broward County, 305-358-5885 in Dade County and 561-966-3309 in Palm Beach County), at www.ticketmaster.com and at the BankAtlantic Center box office.
"This is a chance to get our team closer to the fans," SSE chief operating officer Michael Yormark said. "Children are the lifeblood of sports, making Kids Month the perfect avenue to expose the Panthers to as many young faces as possible."
