Keeping Busy At incredible Ice

Olympic figure skating coach Alexey Mishin and South Florida Hockey Prospects Camp Highlight Big Weekend of Activity

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The NHL regular season may be over but incredible ICE – the premier ice skating facility in South Florida and official practice facility of the Florida Panthers – is keeping busy. The facility will host a series of tremendous events over the upcoming weekend including World-renowned Russian coach Alexey Mishin's figure skating seminar (April 29-30) and the South Florida Hockey Prospects Camp presented by The Next Level Training, Inc. (April 27-30).

"We're looking forward to a great weekend here at incredible ICE," Vice President/General Manager of incredible ICE Jeff Campol said. "Mishin is a world famous coach with an unparalleled resume for training champion figure skaters. And our Prospects Camp will give perennially overlooked South Florida hockey players a chance to make a name for themselves in front of some of the top scouts in North America."

Seminar registration is restricted to skaters who are starting single jumps, double jumps, and triple jumps. Skaters must complete the seminar in order to be eligible for the limited amount of private and semi-private lessons from May 1-3. Mishin is the coach of 2006 Olympic gold medalist Evgeni Plushenko and also instructs Olympic champions Alexei Urmanov and Alexei Yagudin.

The South Florida Hockey Prospects Camp is the best and only chance for high school aged hockey players to get noticed by top scouts. There are 128 players (ages 16 & up) registered for the Camp, which will welcome scouts from North American junior teams, U.S. prep schools and colleges, NHL teams and sports agents.

Practices start on Thursday, team play begins on Friday, and team playoffs will take place on Sunday. All practices and games are open to the public.
