John Vanbiesbrouck Voted All-Time Greatest Panther By Upper Deck

SUNRISE, FL – Former Florida Panthers netminder John Vanbiesbrouck has been selected by Upper Deck as the team's all-time greatest player as voted on the fans.

Vanbiesbrouck appeared in 268 games for the Cats (1993-98) leading the Panthers to the Eastern Conference Championship and Stanley Cup Finals in 1996. He owned the Panthers all-time record for wins with 106, before Roberto Luongo notched his 107th team victory this past season. Over the course of five seasons with the Cats, Vanbiesbrouck posted a 106-108-43 mark with a 2.58 GAA. He was selected as the Cats representative to the All-Star team three times (1994, 1996 & 1997).
