Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Announces New Corporate Marketing Executives
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Michael Yormark announced today that Jarrett Nasca has been promoted to V.P. of Corporate Marketing. In addition, Yormark announced that Pedro Goncalves' role within the organization has expanded and he has been named Sr. V.P. of Corporate Marketing and New Business Development.
"Both Jarrett and Pedro have been key staff members who have made significant contributions to our business' overall success," said Yormark. "In their new roles they will work together to direct and manage the sponsorship sales and marketing efforts for all of Sunrise Sports & Entertainment's properties and strategic alliances."
Nasca has served as the Sr. Director of Sponsorship Sales at Sunrise Sports & Entertainment for the past two years. Prior to joining the organization, he spent two years with Palace Sports & Entertainment selling sponsorships for the Tampa Bay Lighting, Tampa Bay Storm and the St. Pete Times Forum. During his tenure with Palace Sports & Entertainment he was promoted to Director of National Sales.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Nasca began his career at Clear Channel Sports Marketing in Tampa Bay selling sponsorships for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays radio network, University of Florida football and basketball networks and other sports radio programming.
Goncalves joined Sunrise Sports & Entertainment in August of 2005 as Senior V.P. of Business Relations and Strategic Partnerships. Before joining Sunrise Sports & Entertainment, Goncalves spent two years as president of Energistics Marketing, a full service sales and marketing company based in Tampa, Florida. Goncalves also spent four years as vice president of corporate partnerships and broadcasting with the Tampa Bay Lightning and he also served as the director of corporate partnerships for the Columbus Blue Jackets.
