First Cats Hockey House Call a Success
Future Hockey House Call to be Held Later this Summer
SUNRISE, Fla. – More than 300 season seat holder prospects attended the Florida Panthers' first Hockey House Call on Sunday, July 9 at Buddy and Maria Nastase's in Coral Springs. Panthers D Mike Van Ryn was on hand to sign autographs, while fans had the chance to participate in various interactive games and meet Stanley C. Panther.
"Buddy and Maria were the ideal hosts for the first Hockey House Call," said Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing Chad Johnson. "The turnout was fantastic and we plan to schedule future Hockey House Calls throughout the summer."
The purpose of Hockey House Call is for the host family to invite friends, family and neighbors who might be interested in becoming Florida Panthers season ticket holders to their home. The Panthers will take care of everything – food, beverage, entertainment, set-up and clean-up – while the hosts are free to tell their guests why the time is now to become a Panthers season ticket holder.
"It was great to see all our fans who turned out for the event on Sunday," said Van Ryn. "Our fans are very encouraged by the recent moves that the team has made and you can tell that they are excited about the start of the season in October."
"Hockey House Calls are another example of our unique efforts to reach out to potential Panthers fans in the South Florida market," said Johnson. "This is the perfect opportunity for current season ticket holders to tell their friends and neighbors about the unbelievable experience of being a Panthers fan."
