Panthers Foundation 'Not Clowning' Around With Inaugural GameOn! Carnival
SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers Foundation is kicking off the 2006-2007 season with the Game On! Carnival at the BankAtlantic Center on Friday, Sept. 29 – one week before Opening Night.
The entire Florida Panthers organization will be on hand – including players, coaches and staff – as the Panthers Foundation hosts a grand night of entertainment for fans, and supports a worthwhile cause. The players themselves will take part in a multitude of carnival games and activities.
"The GameOn! Carnival is shaping up to be one of our most exciting events yet and promises to be an annual favorite," said Vice President of Community Development Randy Moller. "The Panthers Foundation is proud to implement such a vibrant opportunity for fans to have a fantastic night while helping a great cause."
This event continues the mission of the Florida Panthers Foundation to create events – such as the Game On! Carnival – that assist non-profit children's organizations, which focus on children's healthcare, education, and cultural needs. All proceeds of the event will go toward organizations that support that mission.
"Speaking for our players, we are excited to participate in an event that is focused on providing assistance to underprivileged children in the South Florida community," said Panthers head coach Jacques Martin.
