Panthers Happy Hour & Beach Bash a Hit
More Than 1,000 fans Attend Two Weekend Events
SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers welcomed more than 1,000 fans to their Palm Beach County Happy Hour and their Beach Bash this past weekend. The two events were part of the Panther All-Access initiative designed to make the Florida Panthers the most fan-friendly team in South Florida.
On Fri., August 18, Florida Panthers C Stephen Weiss greeted fans at Bru's Room in Delray Beach. Corporate businesses had the opportunity to meet with Florida Panthers sales representatives for information regarding season ticket packages. The event included drink specials, free appetizers and free draft beer.
On Sat., August 19, the Panthers hosted their Beach Bash at Ocean Water Sports in Pompano Beach. Fans were greeted by Panther captain, C Olli Jokinen, D Mike Van Ryn, C Stephen Weiss and RW Todd Bertuzzi. The Y100.7 Street Team was also on hand to interact with the fans.
The Beach Bash included free food and drinks, games and music. Fans enjoyed parasailing, jet skis, banana boats, kayaks, scuba and snorkel, and kite surfing for a discounted price.
"Both of these events provided unique opportunities for our fans to interact with players while learning all the advantages of being a Florida Panthers season ticket holder," Sr. V.P. of Sales & Marketing Chad Johnson said. "The attendance at both the Happy Hour and the Beach Bash is further proof of how excited the South Florida community is about the upcoming Panthers season."
