\'Blades One Win from Conf. Finals
The Florida Panthers ECHL affiliate, the Florida Everblades are within one game of reaching the American Conference Finals after taking a 3-2 series lead over Texas with a 4-2 win Monday night. The Blades return home to try and close out the series at Germain Arena on Friday night in Game 6 of the series.

Panthers prospects David Brine and Adam Taylor each played a pivotal role in the Blades win. Brine tied the game at one just 1:37 after Texas had taken a 1-0 lead in the first period.

Just over two minutes later, Taylor picked up his first of two assists in the game, helping Vince Bellissimo score a power play goal to give Florida a 2-1 lead after one period. Just 2:45 into the second period, Taylor picked up his second assist of the game and second on a power play, helping Bellissimo score his second goal of the game and giving the Blades a 3-1 lead which they would hold on to win 4-2.

Craig Kowalski had 24 saves in net for Florida and Texas went 0-for-6 on the power play. If necessary, Game 7 of the series will be a home game for the Blades on Saturday.
