Plymouth Still Alive; Vancouver in Semi-Final Game
The Plymouth Whalers (1-2) kept their hopes alive in the 2007 Memorial Cup as they earned a 2-1 overtime win over the Lewiston MAINEiacs(1-2) on Wednesday night. It marked the second time in tournament history that two teams from the United States played each other in a Memorial Cup contest.

The Vancouver Giants (2-1) had their unbeaten streak snapped as they were shutout by the Medicine Hat Tigers on Wednesday in front of a record 14,091 fans. The win gave Medicine Hat an automatic bye into Sunday’s final. The host Giants will play in Friday's semifinal and meet the winner of the tiebreaker between Plymouth and Lewiston, who play this evening.
