 5 THINGS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT TONIGHT'S GAME:

5. The Panthers will be looking for their first win streak of the season tonight as they have traded wins and loses in each of their first six games.

4. Florida will be looking for their first win over San Jose since Feb. 9, 2000, a span of eight games (0-7-1-0). Tonight is Florida's first game against an opponent from the Pacific Division in two seasons. Last year these two divisions did not meet.

3. Florida's LW Cory Stillman recorded his second multi-point game of the season Wednesday in Ottawa (1-1-2). Stillman now has a three-game point streak (2-2-4) and leads the Panthers in scoring with six points (3-3-6). 

2. Combined Panthers G Tomas Vokoun and G Craig Anderson have stopped 103 of the last 106 shots they have faced in the last three games combined which equals a .972 save percentage and a 1.01 GAA.

1. Panthers D Karlis Skrastins had an assist and a plus-3 rating Wednesday night in Ottawa. Skrastins now has a goal and an assist in four games played. He only had five total points last season. Skrastins next point will be the 100th of his career.

PANTHERS HOSPITAL VISITS:

Tuesday, October 28
The Florida Panthers will be making their annual hospital visits on Tuesday, October 28 after practice that day. Panthers players and personalities will visit Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and Chris Evert Children's Hospital at Broward General and distribute Panthers gift bags to the patients.
