Panthers Trade LW Niklas Hagman to Dallas

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Mike Keenan announced today LW Niklas Hagman has been traded to the Dallas Stars in exchange for a seventh round draft choice in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Hagman, 26, played in 30 games with Florida this season registering six points (2-4-6). For his career, with the Panthers he appeared in 263 games with Florida recording 30 goals with 50 assists. The Espoo, Finland native was drafted by Florida with their third choice (70th overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
