Florida Panthers Reassign Kamil Kreps to Rochester

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has reassigned C Kamil Kreps to the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Kreps, 22, who was recalled on Thursday, Oct. 4, appeared in both of the Panthers game this year, averaging 7:18 of ice time. Last season, he played in 14 games with Florida registering a goal and an assist. He made his NHL debut on Jan. 7, 2007 against the Vancouver Canucks.
The Czech Republic native also appeared in 50 games with Rochester during the 2006-07 campaign, scoring 14 goals with 21 assists. Kreps was originally drafted by the Panthers with their third choice (38th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
