Sunrise Edition: Numerous Meetings

It’s been a busy few days since I returned from New York on Tuesday morning. Lots of internal and external meetings and discussions regarding our summer initiatives and next season.

I had lunch with Peter DeBoer on Tuesday. What a great guy. We talked about his family and his summer plans and kept things very casual. He is not only a great coach but more importantly, a great person. I really look forward to spending more time with him during the off-season.

Yesterday, I had numerous meetings that kept me in the office until early evening. I had dinner with an important client and then went home to spend some time with my family.

Today was another crazy day. Meetings from early this morning to late afternoon kept me extremely busy. Tonight was the Fleetwood Mac concert and the crowd was pretty good. The band went on stage at 8:15pm and played for approximately two hours.

I had dinner tonight with Neil Jacobson, Florida President of Livenation. Livenation is the promoter for the Fleetwood Mac Tour. Neil is a great guy and really supports our venue. Most of the Livenation acts that come to South Florida play our building, thanks to Neil.

As many of you know, it’s important that we keep our building busy on a year-round basis and our entertainment programming is a big key to our success. We have some great shows coming up over the next few months. Check out bankatlanticcenter.com for more in-depth information.

Friday is another busy day. My first meeting is at 7:30am followed by an 8:00am conference call with Alan Cohen and his limited partners. After the conference call, I am back to back until 5:00pm.

Tomorrow night I plan on taking my wife and daughter to Shabbat services at B'nai Israel temple in Boca Raton. They have a special children’s service that is lots of fun. It’s a real nice way to end the week.

Moving forward, I will make sure my blogs are a bit more consistent as I would like to keep you updated on a daily basis. Thanks again for all of your support, feedback, suggestions and most importantly, friendship.

Have a great Friday and enjoy your weekend. GO PANTHERS GO!
