Another good day yesterday in the Big Apple. All of my meetings went well.
I am back in South Florida again and yes, I flew JetBlue. They were on time and once again, the service was great.
I got approximately three hours of sleep, woke up and made my way to the gym for a 90-minute workout and then headed to the BankAtlantic Center for a quick shower.
I got to my office by 6am to officially start my day and boy do I have a busy Friday.
My first meeting was at 8am and I am literally back-to-back until 5pm this evening. I'm having lunch with Mike Michaud of the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino at 1pm. Mike is the Director of Marketing and is truly one of the best marketing minds in the industry. He has his competition running for cover while his casino continues to grow its market share day after day!
My day will conclude with dinner at Chops in Boca Raton with my wife Dana and the Lodin's. Chops is a great restaurant located in east Boca. I always get the spinach salad to start and salmon for my main course. I like simple and healthy food.
I have a pretty busy weekend planned. Saturday morning I plan on working out with my trainer at 5:30am. After my workout I will go home to spend time with my daughter Sophia and take her to dance class. Sophia is three and loves to dance. She is the youngest in her class but is really holding her own with the older girls.
After dance class it’s off to lunch and then an afternoon full of activities, shopping and a little rest. At 5:30pm, my wife and I are heading to South Beach to host 30 sponsor guests for dinner at Smith & Wollensky. All of these partners are members of our Pillar Partner program. They are our largest sponsors and represent brands such as BankAtlantic, Mayors, Lexus, National Beverage Corp., Dex Imaging and more. It should be a fun night but most importantly, it gives us a chance to say thank you!
Sunday is a family day and I plan on taking my wife to see Jersey Boys at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. I saw the show in Las Vegas and it was awesome. We are both really looking forward to seeing it again!
Well, it's time to get back to work. Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend and I will check back in with you on Monday.
