Good morning fans. I'm back on the road for two more days – today I am in New York and tomorrow I will be in Atlanta.

The week got off to a good start yesterday. We had a 7am meeting to discuss our ticket sales strategy for next season. Thank you for the suggestions that were sent to me. We discussed all of them in our think tank session and are excited about implementing as many as we can.

In this vein, yesterday I met with Eric Seiden, one of our loyal season seat holders, who presented me with 40 ideas or suggestions covering every area of our business. They were all very well thought out and it was obvious that Eric put a lot of time into this material. I plan on following up with him over the next week.

I did take about 45 minutes yesterday afternoon to tour the expansion area at incredibleICE. Boy is it impressive. From the third sheet of ice to the new training facility for the Panthers and everything in between, it will be without a doubt one of the finest facilities in the NHL. The team training area is just incredible. It has everything a player would want and was designed to give them every resource necessary to train at the highest level possible. It should open in the beginning of July.

Well, if you were like me, you probably watched the Hurricanes-Penguins game last night. It was a hard fought game and entertaining. No doubt this series is going six or seven games. Both teams are skilled and deep and their goaltending is outstanding. Enjoy the series.

While in New York today I am going to attend the Yankees game with a few clients who have season tickets right behind home plate. These are the seats that were originally priced at $2,500 until management got smart and reduced the cost. Can't wait to check them out. I assume for that investment, I will get a great meal delivered right to my seat.

On a personal note, I began my career with the Yankees 17 years ago. It was a great place to work and I enjoyed every minute of it. This will be my first game in the Bronx in ten years.

Well, its time to get to my first meeting. Have a wonderful day, check back for another blog later this week and, as always, thanks for your continued support.
