Florida Panthers Sign Jamie Johnson

SUNRISE, FL – Florida Panthers Assistant General Manager Randy Sexton announced today that the club has agreed to terms with C Jamie Johnson on a one-year contract.

Johnson, 27, played in 42 games with TPS Turku (Finnish Elite League) last season placing tied for first on the club with 20 assists and third with 28 points. Prior to playing in Finland, he spent the 2007-08 campaign with the Albany River Rats (AHL) where he paced the team with 58 points (21-37-58) in 79 games played.
