Panthers Announce Two-Day Puck Drop Sale

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that for TWO DAYS ONLY – Oct. 2 to 3 – the Florida Panthers will celebrate the beginning of the 2009-10 NHL season with a special “Puck Drop” sale on select Cats ticket packages. While the Panthers are in Helsinki, Finland opening the season with two games against the Blackhawks, fans can buy ticket packages at 50%-off, meaning they will be able to cheer on their Cats for as low as $5 per game. Only a limited amount of inventory is available at this exclusive price point and Opening Night is not included.


“While the puck drops on the 09-10 season, we are celebrating by dropping prices on select packages for two days only,” said Panthers president & COO Michael Yormark. “We want to entice ‘fence-sitting’ buyers to jump on board now, as this is the one and only chance to see live Panthers hockey action for half-off.”

The Panthers Puck Drop sale is available only on select ticket packages and does not include Opening Night, or individual game tickets. The sale will take place from Friday, Oct. 2 at 12:01 a.m. to Saturday, Oct. 3 at midnight, while the Panthers are in Helsinki, Finland opening the NHL regular season with two games against the Chicago Blackhawks.
