Panthers Recall G Alexander Salak

SUNRISE, FL – Florida Panthers General Manager Randy Sexton announced today that the club has recalled G Alexander Salak.
Salak, 22, appeared in parts of two games with Florida during the preseason, playing 39 minutes, stopping all 18 shots that he faced. He played in 53 games with TPS Turku (FNL) last season going 20-20-9 with a 2.40 GAA.
Florida (1-1-0) travels to Raleigh to face the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday, Oct. 9, before hosting the New Jersey Devils in their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. Both games can been seen on FS Florida and heard on the radio at SportsTalk 790 The Ticket.
