The Florida Panthers held a 60-minute on-ice workout at incredible ICE in Coral Springs on Monday morning as the club enters the final week of the 2009-10 season.
David Booth, who suffered his second concussion of the season on Mar. 25 in Montreal off a hit from Canadiens defenseman Jaroslav Spacek, looked on as the Panthers continue their three-game home stand tomorrow night against the Ottawa Senators at 7 p.m.
“I am feeling much better then I did after I sustained my first one,” said Booth. “It is a little easier because now I know what to expect and how I have to handle myself. I just have to take my time and not rush myself back, so that I will be completely healthy for next season."
The Panthers late season injuries continue to pile-up with Cory Stillman (back), Bryan Allen (ribs) and Gregory Campbell (foot) all missing practice. Victor Oreskovich (lower body) skated with the team, while Byron Bitz (elbow) skated after the club’s practice.
Florida has recalled Steve MacIntyre and Evgeny Dadonov from Rochester (AHL).The 21-year old Dadonov is expected to make his NHL debut tomorrow night.
