MY360: The Momentum Continues
Hopefully you are enjoying the beginning of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Philadelphia Flyers. The opening game, a 6-5 win for the Hawks, was not only an exciting 11-goal affair for hockey fans, but it was a great moment for the sport as two major markets and two of the NHL’s most storied franchises put on an incredible show in front of a National television audience.

For Panthers fans, it should also be exciting to watch new General Manager Dale Tallon’s blueprint in play, as the team he built in Chicago, has captured the hearts and minds of many in the sports world.

It has not been a month since Dale was announced as the new Executive Vice President & GM of this franchise, and the momentum and the enthusiasm continues to build in the form of fan response, media exposure and more.

After spending time in Germany at the IIHF World Championships meeting with Head Coach Pete DeBoer, and in Toronto for the NHL Scouting Combine, our fans will finally get a chance to get up close with their new GM at the first Cats Cookout of the summer on Thursday, June 10.

In addition, this week we will announce plans for our multiple Draft Parties on June 25, as Dale and the rest of our hockey operations staff lead our efforts at the NHL Entry Draft in Los Angeles.

With the third overall pick and three more picks in the second round, Cats fans could be in for an exciting couple of days, as Dale works to implement the same blueprint that he used to much success in Chicago.

As we turn the calendar to June, it’s amazing to think that it’s been nearly two months since the end of the NHL regular season. But due to the number of incredible announcements we’ve made over the past weeks – including our new GM, dynamic pricing structure, more intimate seating capacity, employee community involvement and more – the offseason thus far has been an absolute whirlwind of activity. And it looks to continue this week with our Draft Parties information, as well as some other announcements potentially on both the business and hockey side, in addition to a potential huge concert release.

All told the summer momentum at the BankAtlantic Center continues to build, and you, our passionate and dedicated fans, stand to benefit.

Thanks for reading, have a wonderful Memorial Day and go Panthers.
