Yormark Named Walk Chair For Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2010 Light The Night Walk In Broward County

Yormark will begin his chairmanship by hosting the Light The Night Corporate Breakfast on Wednesday, June 2 at 7:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Pier 66 in Ft. Lauderdale. For more information contact Sheriann Namer at 9547445311 or Sheriann.Namer@lls.org.
In addition, the Florida Panthers have pledged their support for LLS and Light The Night as a supporting sponsor, while SSE employees will enter a walk team for the event. Yormark and the organization’s support is part of SSE’s Contract with the Community including employees’ recent pledge to donate over 1,500 hours of community service each year.
“I am thrilled and honored to serve as walk chair for the 2010 Light The Night Walk in Broward County,” Yormark said. “As someone whose personal and professional life has been impacted by cancer I feel a great responsibility, on behalf of myself and the Florida Panthers organization, to do whatever I can to raise awareness and support for Light The Night, and the fight against blood cancers. In addition, I am excited to honor the Florida Panthers’ commitment to the local community through LLS and this wonderful cause.”
