“Mike is a hard working, young forward who will continue to develop within our organization,” said Tallon. “For the last two seasons, he has led his American Hockey League club in scoring, while also getting the opportunity to compete at the National Hockey League level. We look forward to his contributions to our team.”

The 6-foot, 180-pound center spent the majority of the 2009-10 season with the Predators’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, where he led the team with 26 goals and 59 points in just 57 games. He added another seven points (3-4-7) in seven AHL postseason contests. He also led the Admirals with 70 points (27-43-70) in 70 games played during the 2008-09 season.
A Vancouver native, Santorelli played his college hockey at Northern Michigan University, where he totaled 110 points (61-49-110) in 121 career games for the Wildcats. He was named to the CCHA First All-Star Team in 2007 after leading the conference with 30 goals in 41 games played.
