SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Florida Panthers Training Camp 2010 will be presented by the Eagles. The legendary American rock band will visit the BankAtlantic Center on Friday, Oct. 8, eight days before Cats Opening Night vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning. A sports presenting sponsorship with an artist/concert is believed to be a first in the sports and entertainment industry.

“Panthers Training Camp 2010 presented by the Eagles is an innovative program unlike anything that has ever been done in the sports and entertainment industry,” said Panthers president & COO Michael Yormark. “It is also proof that our organization is willing to use all the resources at our disposal to promote concerts, shows and events that visit the BankAtlantic Center.”

As part of this unique, fully-integrated marketing partnership, the Eagles Oct. 8 concert will receive exposure through a custom Panthers Training Camp 2010 logo, all Training Camp news on FloridaPanthers.com and through social media, on all Training Camp-related press releases and marketing advertisements, as well as in-game, in-arena and on related television and radio broadcasts.

Panthers Training Camp 2010 presented by the Eagles will also be branded at various locations throughout the Saveology.com Iceplex, the Cats official practice facility in Coral Springs, including media backdrops, rink signage and in the expansive Panthers Den rink and training facility.

Panthers Training Camp 2010 presented by the Eagles runs from Sept. 11 (rookie camp begins) until Oct. 10 (Cats first regular season game) and is highlighted by rookie games against Nashville on Sept. 15 and 16, Hockey Day In South Florida and the Blue-White Scrimmage on Sept. 19, and two home preseason games on Sept. 29 vs. Carolina and Oct. 1 vs. Tampa Bay.
