Party City To Sponsor Upper Bowl Covers During Florida Panthers Home Games

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Party City – the leader in the party goods industry and presenting sponsor of the 2010-11 Florida Panthers NHL season – will add exposure on the BankAtlantic Center’s upper bowl covers during Cats home games to it’s multi-year marketing partnership. 


As part of an overall focus on enhancing the fan experience and party atmosphere at the BankAtlantic Center, the Florida Panthers will cover 22 upper bowl sections for Cats regular season home games, leading to a more intimate seating capacity of 17,040. Party City will receive exposure on 16 of those covered sections, while the remaining six will feature Florida Panthers team branding. 


Thus far this offseason, the scarcity of available tickets has led to the Panthers pacing toward more than 10,000 full season ticket equivalents – the most in three seasons – prior to Opening Night on Oct. 16.

This is yet another example of SSE’s distinctive ability to create tailor-fit brand activation packages for its partners.”


In addition to exposure on the upper bowl covers and presenting sponsorship of the Panthers regular season, Party City will also receive LED signage, an interactive kiosk in the BankAtlantic Center’s main lobby, collateral distribution, LobbyVision commercials, Pantherland bag stuffers, exposure on FloridaPanthers.com and entitlement of the party rooms at the Saveology.com Iceplex, and more. Party City will also sponsor the in-game Happy Birthday feature and the Post-game Win Celebration during home Panthers games at the BankAtlantic Center. 


The Halloween, New Year’s and Graduation promotions will give Party City enhanced exposure in the days leading up to each of these time-sensitive events. During these time periods, Party City will have customized messaging i.e. “It’s Halloween All Month Long,” “Countdown To New Year’s,” etc., that will be featured in-arena and on radio, television and FloridaPanthers.com.
