12 Panthers Players To Make Community Appearances This Weekend

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Panthers will be all over the South Florida community this weekend with a visit to Chris Evert Children’s Hospital and Panthers Live at Duffy’s Sports Grill Plantation on Friday, the Florida Panthers Rink Tour on Saturday, and the Cats-Sharks game at the BankAtlantic Center on Sunday.
 
All told, 12 different Panthers players will make community appearances on Friday and Saturday covering both Palm Beach County and Broward County. Fans can follow all the Panthers fan development appearances at FloridaPanthers.com/fandevelopment.

In addition, I hope our fans will respond with a great showing at the BankAtlantic Center on Sunday when the Cats take on the visiting San Jose Sharks.”

Florida Panthers Foundation Chris Evert Children’s Hospital Visit
Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, 1 p.m.

- Radek Dvorak, Stephen Weiss and Tomas Vokoun will give patients Valentine’s Day-themed goodies and host an ice cream party courtesy of Coldstone Creamery in the Panthers-themed pediatric oncology unit.
 
Panthers Live at Duffy’s Sports Grill Plantation
Friday, Feb. 11, 6 p.m.
811 South University Drive, Plantation
- Scott Clemmensen, Jason Garrison and Mike Santorelli in an open forum with fans hosted by FOX Sports Florida broadcaster Bill Lindsay and Panthers in-arena host Bill Murphy.
 
Florida Panthers Rink Tour
Saturday, Feb. 12, 5 p.m.
