Panthers Recall LW Kenndal McArdle & RW Hugh Jessiman From Rochester (AHL)

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled LW Kenndal McArdle and RW Hugh Jessiman from the Rochester Americans (AHL).
McArdle, 24, has played in 28 career National Hockey League contests, all with Florida, scoring one goal with two assists and 42 PIM. He has played in six games with the Panthers this season, averaging 8:32 in ice time with 11 PIM. McArdle has played in 47 games with Rochester (AHL) this year recording 23 points (13-10-23) and 94 PIM. The Toronto, Ontario native was drafted by Florida with their first choice (20th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Jessiman, 26, has split time between Rochester (AHL) and Rockford (AHL) this year, playing in 35 games scoring four goals with two assists and 38 PIM. He was acquired by Florida from the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 9, along with F Jack Skille and F David Pacan in exchange for F Michael Frolik and G Alexander Salak. The New York, N.Y. native was drafted by the New York Rangers in the first round (12th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Jessiman is expected to make his NHL debut this evening against the New Jersey Devils.
