Panthers Acquire F Niclas Bergfors And F Pat Rissmiller From Atlanta In Exchange For F Radek Dvorak And A 2011 Fifth Round Pick

“Niclas Bergfors is a young, skilled forward that will give us some much needed offensive ability up front and Patrick Rissmiller is a veteran player that will bring leadership and experience to our organization,” Tallon said. “I’d also like to thank Radek Dvorak for his extensive contributions to the Panthers franchise.”
Bergfors, 23, has played in 142 National Hockey League games for New Jersey (2007-10) and Atlanta (2010-11) recording 74 points (33-41-74). He has played in 52 games for Atlanta this year scoring 11 goals with 18 assists. The Sodertalje, Sweden native was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the first round (No. 23 overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Rissmiller, 32, has played in 183 National Hockey League contests for San Jose (2003-08), NY Rangers (2008-09) and Atlanta (2010-11) scoring 18 goals with 27 assists and 60 PIM.
