STATS:
NEWS: Larsson, Landeskog Also In Running To Be No. 1 (06.03.11) Red Deer's Ryan Nugent-Hopkins isn't the only player in the running to be the top pick at the 2011 Entry Draft. Swedish defenseman Adam Larsson of Skelleftea and Kitchener Rangers captain Gabriel Landeskog are also prime candidates to go No. 1. Like Nugent-Hopkins, each made it through Friday's fitness portion of the NHL Scouting Combine unscathed. Tenacious Landeskog Breaks Swede Stereotype (05.06.11) Gabriel Landeskog of the Ontario Hockey League's Kitchener Rangers isn't your typical swift-skating Swede. He comes with a lunch pail, packs plenty of power and knows the English language as well, if not better, than most Europeans playing professionally today. |
