The New Pantherland Debuts On Saturday

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the new and improved Pantherland retail store at the BankAtlantic Center will debut on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. prior to the Florida Panthers-Pittsburgh Penguins game.
 
A ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place at 6 p.m. before the new store opens to the public. The ribbon cutting will feature Panthers General Partner Cliff Viner, President & COO Michael R. Yormark, City of Sunrise Mayor Michael J. Ryan, Moss Construction Management President Scott Moss and Vice President Bret Atkinson, and 360 Architecture Senior Interior Designer Meredith Quinn.
 
Kansas City-based 360 Architecture redesigned the store to better serve the public and Panthers fans. Pantherland provides a highly visible, exciting and convenient retail experience that is centered on the team’s new image, including the change to red as its primary color. South Florida-based Moss Construction was the renovation project’s general contractor.
 
Moved to the entrance of BankAtlantic Center with a direct connection to the outdoor JetBlue Tarmac, Pantherland will now allow greater access and more flexible hours for patrons, including days when there’s no game or event in the arena. Its ambiance has been elevated through all-new finishes and fixtures and the addition of large display windows to the concourse and exterior entry. Patrons will be drawn to the space’s Center Ice, a featured display area that showcases team-branded merchandise. Graphic banners and walls inspiring fans to join in the Panthers’ “Redvolution” campaign give the store fresh energy and a unique presence.
