Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today RW Michal Repik has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).
Repik, 22, earns his first recall of the season to the Panthers. He has played in 55 National Hockey League contests over three seasons, all with Florida, scoring seven goals with eight assists and 30 PIM. The Vlasim, Czech Republic native has appeared in 14 games with the San Antonio Rampage this season registering nine points (2-7-9).
Repik was drafted by Florida with its second choice (40th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Florida begins a four-game homestand tomorrow night when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins. The game can be seen on FOX Sports Florida and heard on 560 WQAM at 7:30 p.m.
