Rapid Fire: Favorite NHL Cities
Welcome to Rapid Fire. Panthers broadcasters Steve Goldstein and Bill Lindsay will hit five different thoughts on a daily rotating basis. It's up to them as far as what topics they want to talk about as teams, and more specifically the Panthers, make a push towards the playoffs and the Stanley Cup.

With the Panthers last big road trip on tap, Bill Lindsay takes a look at his five favorite road cities to visit.

1. Chicago: The windy city. Deep dish pizza is at the top of my food list and Chicago has the best in the world. The city has a lot of great sites. As far as the hockey goes, the Madhouse on Madison is a great atmosphere. It is the biggest and one of the loudest arenas in the league. It starts right at the national anthem when the whole crowd erupts right at the start of the song and goes wild for the whole anthem. It gives you goose bumps. Just a fun place to visit, and take in a hockey game.

2. Vancouver: I am bias for Vancouver because I was born and raised in British Columbia. I have a lot of friends in the city and it is always nice to catch up with my pals. It may be the prettiest city in North America the views are breathtaking, especially on a sunny day. The only problem is sunny days are few and far between. They love their hockey in Vancouver and the rink is always rocking.

3. Los Angeles: LA is just such a unique place. Venice beach, the Promenade in Santa Monica, you can just hang out and watch all the interesting people. It's laid back, easy going and has so many cool surrounding areas. Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Malibu and Marina Del Ray are all close and are fun places to spend a day. All very beautiful. As far as the hockey goes, the atmosphere is fun, and panning the crowd for movie stars is always entertaining.

4. Montreal: An amazing city that loves hockey like no other. This city is so rich with culture. The city has some of the best restaurants in the world and the vibe in the city is always energetic. The hockey is steeped with tradition, and the Canadiens are always the talk of the town. It's all about hockey in Montreal. The Canadiens are one of the most storied franchises in all of sports and there is nothing like watching a game in Montreal. It is like going to Yankee Stadium if you're a baseball fan. This is the mecca. If you are a hockey fan and have one trip to take, this would be the place.

5. New York City: Without question for me the most unique and interesting city in North America. There is no city that is quite like New York. Its energy is off the charts and there is so much to see. Any kind of food that you desire is available and you can never run out of things to do. I love visiting New York. Having my broadcast partner Goldie a Brooklyn native to show me around has also helped my appreciation for the city. The hockey at Madison Square Garden is always special. There is just something about the Garden that is magical. It is not the nicest arena in the world but it has a mystique like no other. New York is one of a kind.
