Panthers Agree To One-Year Contract With Peter Mueller

SUNRISE, FL – Florida Panthers Executive VP & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with C Peter Mueller on a one-year contract.
 
“Peter is a young and talented forward who is a former first-round draft choice,” said Tallon. “He is a skilled player with an offensive upside who will help our power play.”

Mueller, 24, has played in 254 National Hockey League contests for both Phoenix (2007-2010) and Colorado (2010-12) scoring 55 goals with 88 assists. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound forward scored a career-best 22 goals with 32 assists during his rookie season with Phoenix. Mueller has recorded at least 35 points three times in his last four seasons played.
 
The Bloomington, Minn., native was selected by Phoenix in the first round (8th overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
