Panthers REDvolution Summer Tour, Presented By XFINITY, Set For Stop In Weston Saturday
Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced the Florida Panthers REDvolution Summer Tour, presented by XFINITY, will stop at the Weston YMCA Family Center in Weston Regional Park on Saturday, Aug. 11 from 6:30-10 p.m. The free event is open to the public and will feature the Panthers Patrol with a street hockey rink, bounce house, Panthers Party Mobiles, face painting, Stanley C. Panther and the Redline Lady Panthers. In celebration of the Olympics, the family film “Miracle” will be played as a movie in the park at dusk.
Florida Panthers 2012-13 season ticket offers will be available, including select lower-bowl seats for as low as $30. Additionally, the YMCA’s Annual School Supply Drive will be onsite collecting donations of new backpacks and/or school supplies for local Broward County Children.
Families can bring their own blankets and lawn chairs for the movie viewing and concessions stands will be open for food and drink purchases. Weston Regional Park is located at 20201 Saddle Club Road in Weston.
The REDvolution Summer Tour features fan events at local rinks, parks and other locations across South Florida in celebration of the Panthers’ 2011-12 Southeast Division Championship season and looking ahead to a highly-anticipated 2012-13 season. Fans attending REDvolution Summer Tour events will have the opportunity to meet with Panthers sales representatives and discuss ticket packages for the 2012-13 season and more.
The REDvolution Summer Tour, which began in June and continues through the summer has additional upcoming stops, including:
- Sept. 22: Starting with the opening of training camp at Saveology.com Iceplex in Coral Springs that morning, fans are encouraged to stop by throughout the day for a preseason kick-off rally featuring inflatables, food trucks, live music and additional games in Downtown Fort Lauderdale (Huizenga Plaza, Fort Lauderdale, 2-5 p.m.)
