Panthers Foundation Supports Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers Foundation announced today that it has made a donation to the Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation in support of pediatric cancer patient Hiram Folsom and the Folsom family. The donation was made last Friday, Oct. 5 during a “Share the Joy” ceremony at the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale.

In attendance was Florida Panthers Foundation executive director Andria Nolan, Florida Panthers executives, staff and select members of the Florida Panthers Foundation board.

“The Florida Panthers Foundation is proud to support the Folsom family and the Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation through the ‘Share the Joy’ ceremony,” said Foundation executive director Andria Nolan. “We are so grateful to be able to make a positive impact on pediatric cancer, one family at a time”.

Share the Joy assists families in financial need to get treatment for their child. The Share the Joy ceremony included the parents of the children sharing their stories and experiences with pediatric cancer.
