National Hockey League Announces Cancellation of Regular Season Games Through Nov. 1
SUNRISE, FL – The Florida Panthers in conjunction with the National Hockey League announced today that the team’s regular season games through Thursday, Nov. 1 have been cancelled.
The cancellation includes Florida’s home game against Columbus Blue Jackets (Oct. 29), as well as the club’s road games against the Winnipeg Jets (Oct. 25) and Minnesota Wild (Oct. 27).
The cancellation of the regular season games was necessary because of the absence of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NHL Players’ Association and the NHL.
