Fox Sports Florida to Re-Air Game Five of 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Thursday Night
Florida earns 3-0 victory over New Jersey to take series lead 3-2
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that Fox Sports Florida will re-air game five of the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Thursday, Nov.1 at 8 p.m.
In game five, the Panthers shutout the eventual Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey Devils 3-0. G Jose Theodore, recorded his second career playoff shutout and first with the Panthers, stopping 30 shots, while earning first star of the game honors.
RW Kris Versteeg opened the scoring with a power play tally, while LW Scottie Upshall and RW Tomas Kopecky also added goals to seal the victory for the Cats. With the win, Florida took a 3-2 series lead back to New Jersey for a potential series clinching game six.
