Fox Sports Florida To Re-Air Panthers 4-3 Comeback Victory Over New Jersey Tonight

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that Fox Sports Florida will re-air Florida’s 4-3 come-from-behind victory over the eventual Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey Devils tonight at 8 p.m.

On Nov. 21, 2011, the New Jersey Devils visited Florida and scored three goals in the first 12 minutes of the game to hold a 3-0 lead. New Jersey held that lead until 5:28 of the second period before Florida started their franchise record comeback.

Florida RW Kris Versteeg recorded consecutive goals in the second period, while C Stephen Weiss tied the game with a shorthanded goal midway through the third and LW Tomas Fleischmann recorded the game winner with 2:03 left in the game. G Jose Theodore stopped 22 shots on the way to the victory. It was the second time in franchise history that Florida came back to win a game after trailing by three goals. The other time came in a 5-4 overtime victory against Toronto on Feb. 10, 2009 after trailing 4-1 in the contest.
