National Hockey League Announces Cancellation Of 2012-13 Regular Season Games Through Jan. 14
SUNRISE, FL – The Florida Panthers in conjunction with the National Hockey League announced today that the team’s regular season games through Monday, Jan. 14 have been cancelled.
The cancellation includes Florida’s home game against New York (Dec. 31) and road games in Buffalo (Jan. 3), Pittsburgh (Jan. 4), Winnipeg (Jan. 6), Montreal (Jan. 8) and Toronto (Jan. 10).
The cancellation of the regular season games was necessary because of the absence of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NHL Players’ Association and the NHL.
