Panthers Unveil “Get It On” Marketing Campaign And Dedicate 2013 Season To Fans With “7th Man” Initiative
Campaign aimed at energizing South Florida about return of Panthers hockey and will supplement “RED Rising”; Tickets start at $7 a game
SUNRISE, FL – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today a new Florida Panthers marketing campaign entitled “Get It On.” The franchise also announced that it is dedicating the entire 2013 season to Panthers fans with the new “7th Man” initiative.
“Get It On” is aimed at energizing the South Florida community around the return of Cats hockey and will fall under the umbrella of the Panthers’ general “RED Rising” campaign.
“The ‘Get It On’ campaign is representative of the eagerness and emotion our fans have to get their red jerseys on and support the Panthers as they get back on the ice to defend their Southeast Division Championship,” said SSE president Michael R. Yormark. “In addition, due to the incomparable loyalty and dedication of our fans, we are dedicating this season to them with the new and innovative Panthers ‘7th Man’ initiative.
“Due to the shortened schedule, every game counts during what looks to be a three-plus month sprint to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. It is going to be an incredible and memorable season of Florida Panthers hockey, and we are excited to announce this new campaign which, along with ‘RED Rising’, encompasses the excitement surrounding this team.”
Tickets start as low as $7 a game and fans can call 954-835-PUCK or log on to Ticketmaster.com to purchase Opening Night tickets, season plans or single game tickets once the final schedule is released. The Cats will unveil their first Southeast Division Championship banner and every fan in attendance will receive a commemorative mini-banner.
The Panthers are coming off one of the most exciting and successful seasons in franchise history including a Southeast Division championship, record playoff attendance, and a seven-game series with the eventual Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey Devils.
Both “Get It On” and “7th Man” will be prevalent in all of the Panthers’ marketing and media outlets including outdoor, in-arena, television, radio, print, online, and more.
In addition, “7th Man” will include a number of unique experiential opportunities for fans and season ticket holders to watch and take part in throughout the season. These opportunities, which will take place as part of Panthers home games, as well as other off-site events, will be announced in the build-up to Opening Night, during the Panthers home opener, and over the course of the season.
The “7th Man” will also play a major role in the game presentation for Cats home games as fans support the team during their Division title defense.
