Subway Restaurants Partners With Florida Panthers And BB&T Center
First arena partnership in South Florida brings Subway concession stand to BB&T Center, and additional healthier food options for guests
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Subway Restaurants has joined the organization as an official marketing partner of the Florida Panthers and the BB&T Center.
The multi-year partnership is Subway’s first arena partnership in South Florida and is highlighted by a new Subway restaurant outside the BB&T Center’s section 109 featuring Subway’s renowned menu of items including sandwiches, salads, pizza, fresh fit choices, and more.
Subway will have an additional location on the 400 level just outside the Kids Zone.
Larry Feldman and Eric Sacks, the Subway Development Agents in South Florida, said: “we are extremely excited to begin this great partnership with the BB&T Center and to have the well experienced team of multi-unit Subway franchisees Jimmy Jamil and Hummair Humar to represent Subway.”
“We are thrilled and excited that Subway has chosen the BB&T Center as its first arena marketing partnership in South Florida,” said SSE President Michael R. Yormark. “Clearly, Subway sees the value in partnering with a world-renowned arena venue that attracts a wide-ranging schedule of concerts, shows and sporting events with a large and diverse clientele. Additionally, we are thrilled that BB&T Center guests – notably kids and families - will have even more concession options, including Subway’s renowned famous foot longs and fresh healthier choices, every time they visit the BB&T Center.”
In addition to Subway’s new in-arena concession stand, Subway will receive exposure through a fully integrated brand activation package including in-arena and in-game signage, advertising through SSE’s print, radio, television, and online assets and more.
