Panthers Opening Night Ratings On FOX Sports Florida Up More Than 300-percent Over Last Season Opener

SUNRISE, FL – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the ratings for Florida Panthers Opening Night on FOX Sports Florida were up more than 300-percent over last season’s Opening Night broadcast.

The Panthers defeated the rival Carolina Hurricanes 5-1 during an emotional opener that included a sellout crowd of 19,688, the unveiling of the Panthers’ Southeast Division Championship banner and the launch of the Cats’ “7th Man” campaign dedicating the season to the fans.

Florida is currently 1-1-0 and heads to Montreal tonight before hosting the Ottawa Senators on Thursday and the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday at the BB&T Center. All games are at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on FOX Sports Florida HD and on Sports Radio 560 WQAM.
